[AKADEMSKI FORUM]: Socio-Political Effects of Technology

Within the framework of the ARIS project Reformed Constitutionalism for a Fair and Sustainable Algorithmic Society (ConAlgo), we cordially invite you to the 6th Academic AI Forum of the New University, entitled: “Socio-Political Effects of Technology“.

The forum’s convener prof. dr. Matej Avbelj will host dr. Ivana Luknar, a guest researcher at the New University’s Centre for Constitutionalism and AI and the author of the recently published book on the Socio-political Effects of Technology.

The author will present her book as well her research project at the New University, which is dedicated to the comparative examination of the AI regulation inside and outside of the EU.

The event will take place in English on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, starting at 2 p.m. in Jože Pučnik Lecture Hall (P1) at Mestni trg 23. We kindly ask you to confirm your attendance no later than Monday, 8 May 2026, by 12:00 via the online form.
