doc. dr. Robert Drobnič Visokošolski učitelj
Dr. Robert Drobnič je docent za področje javne uprave. Rodil se je 26.3.1973 v Ljubljani. Diplomiral je na Ekonomski fakulteti Univerze v Ljubljani, doktoriral pa na Fakulteti za državne in evropske študije Nove univerze.
Njegova raziskovalna področja so bila vezana na področje javne uprave, v okviru tega pa predvsem na področje regionalnega razvoja, trga dela in zaposlovanja ter evropske kohezijske politike, s poudarkom na Evropskem socialnem skladu in Evropskem skladu za regionalni razvoj ter na povezovanju različnih sektorskih politik v okviru državne in javne uprave.
V času vključevanja Slovenije v EU je aktivno sodeloval pri vzpostavitvi organizacijskih in vsebinskih podlag pri vključevanju državne uprave v sistem Evropske kohezijske politike. V nadaljevanju je opravljal številna strokovna in vodstvena dela na različnih institucijah: Ministrstvo za delo, družino in socialne zadeve, Agencija za regionalni razvoj kot organ v sestavi Ministrstva za ekonomske odnose in razvoj, Javna agencija RS za regionalni razvoj, Služba Vlade RS za lokalno samoupravo in regionalno politiko, Ministrstvo za gospodarski razvoj in tehnologijo. V različnih organizacijah je deloval kot član mnogih področnih in medresorskih delovnih skupin ter bil vodja različnih notranjih organizacijskih enot državne uprave.

Robert Drobnič PhD is assistant professor for the field of Public Administration. He was born in 1973 in Ljubljana. He graduated at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics. He earned a doctorate at the New University, Faculty of State and European Studies. His research scopes are within Public Administration, mainly in the field of Regional Development, Labour Market, Employment and European Cohesion Policy, with the emphasis on European Regional Development Fund, European Social Fund and coordination of different sectorial policies within state administration. During the Slovenia’s EU pre-accession period, he has been actively involved in preparation the organisational and substantive scopes for the purpose of integration of Slovenian Public Administration system into European Cohesion Policy system. He has been working in many different working places within Slovene Public Administration and has gained many practical experiences in solving variety of challenges within Public Administration. He has been working in different professional and management positions (as Head of different Units, Sectors, Divisions and as Director General of Directorate) in different institutions: Ministry of Labour, Family and Social Affairs, National Agency for Regional Development, Governmental Office for Local Self-government and Regional Policy and Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.
