Srećko Kecman je rojen v Zemunu 30. 7. 1964. Po končani gimnaziji je vpisal dvopredmetni pedagoški študij zgodovine in angleščine na Filozofski fakulteti v Ljubljani. Poučuje zgodovino in angleščino v osnovni šoli. Prevaja strokovna besedila, prozo in poezijo v angleški, srbski in slovenski jezik. Piše zgodovinske romane in časopisne članke. Več kot deset let je izvajal tečaje angleščine na Ustavnem sodišču Republike Slovenije za ustavne sodnike, pravne vstovalce, poslovne sekretarje in administratorje. Na Fakulteti za državne in evropske študije predava angleško pravno terminologijo že od njene ustanovitve.

Srećko Kecman was born in Zemun on July 30th 1964. Following secondary education, he enrolled in dual pedagogical studies of History and English at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. He is a primary school English and History teacher. He regularly translates expert papers, prose and poetry into English, Slovenian and Serbian languages. He writes historical novels as well as magazine articles. Mr Kecman also organised and led English language courses for judges, consultants, assisstants and administrators of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Slovenia for more than ten years. He has been a lecturer of English language and legal terminology at the Faculty of Government and European Studies since its foundation.
