[INVITATION]: Honorary doctorate award ceremony and lecture by Maria Velikonja

We cordially invite you to join us on Wednesday, 28 January 2026, at 16:00, for the ceremony marking the conferral of an honorary doctorate of the New University upon Ms Maria Velikonja.

The ceremony will include the formal conferral of the honorary doctorate, followed by a lecture delivered by the honorary doctor entitled: Frontlines and Footnotes: A Career Spanning War, Justice, and WWII History.

The lecture will be followed by a discussion, and the event will conclude with a short reception in the Gallery on the ground floor.
