The subject at the undergraduate level of study deals mainly with issues related to the concept and development of local self-government: Basic concepts related to local self-government. Historical outline of local government self-government. Objectives of the introduction of local self – government. The course deals with the existing legal regulation and the conduct of bodies in specific cases: Positive legal regulation of local self-government. Regionalization. The European Union, the Council of Europe and local government.
