Content:
1 Introduction to the study of law and public administration
2 Good practice of writing papers
3 Legal and administrative methodology
- a) Epistemological and ethical background of methodology
- b) Stages of the research process
- c) general methodological approaches (dialectics, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, typological method, qualitative and quantitative methods, statistics, historical and comparative)
- d) Research of legal values – philosophical approaches (axiological, deontological approaches)
- e) Research of legal norms (normative and dogmatic approaches)
- f) Research of legal relations (sociological approaches – observation, survey, interview, experiment, content analysis, case study, sociometry, indices, scales)
- g) Scientific explanation, paradigm and truth
4 Social science approaches in law
5 Use of legal and administrative databases
6 Use of library resources
